The Mr. Paul Foundation exists to open doors for children with special needs, and we want our website to be open to everyone. We are committed to making mrpaulfdn.org accessible and easy to use for people of all abilities.
Our approach
We design and review the Website with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Features include:
- Semantic headings, landmarks and a “Skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Full keyboard navigation with clearly visible focus indicators.
- Text and interface colors chosen for strong contrast, and text that resizes without loss of content.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images, and labeled form fields with clear error and confirmation messages.
- Scrolling lists that pause when you hover over or focus them, include a visible “Pause scrolling” button, and stop moving automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
- A responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops.
Known limitations
We link to many outside organizations whose websites are managed by others, and we cannot guarantee that their content is fully accessible. Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet meet every guideline, and we continue to improve.
Tell us how we can do better
If you have difficulty using any part of the Website, or you would like information in another format, please email help@mrpaulfdn.org. Tell us the page you were on and the problem you experienced. We aim to reply within five business days and to resolve issues as quickly as we reasonably can.
