The Mr. Paul Foundation (“the Foundation,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through mrpaulfdn.org (the “Website”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, your email address, the topic you select and the message you write. We do not ask for a phone number, and we ask that you do not include sensitive personal, medical or financial information about yourself or any child in your message.
Information collected automatically. To protect the form from spam and abuse, we record the IP address used to submit a message. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and reliability.
2. How we use information
- To read and respond to your message, including questions about equipment donations, volunteering and grants.
- To organize volunteers and events and to follow up on offers of help.
- To keep the Website secure and to prevent spam, fraud and misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. How messages are handled
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by email to the Foundation’s representatives and website administrators and are stored securely in the Website’s database so that nothing is lost. Only authorized administrators can view them.
4. Sharing information
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Website and receive email (such as our web host and email delivery services), and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of the Foundation, our community or others.
5. Cookies and tracking
At the time of publication, the Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not load fonts or scripts from third-party tracking services. Standard WordPress cookies may be set for administrators who are signed in. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
6. Third-party websites
The Website links to charities, programs and event organizers. Those sites are independent of the Foundation and have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review them before sharing personal information.
7. Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Retention and security
We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our records, and then delete them when they are no longer needed. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing help@mrpaulfdn.org. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
